Mooresville, N.C.–Lowe’s headquarters, which has a gated entrance.

Waterlynnthe entrance; some TND elements (alleys with garages facing back in a few areas); mostly single-family homes with garages facing front though; raised (and fenced) front yards in one area; a corner of the fenced backyard is sloped here (making the fence look cockeyed); here’s the HOA pool.  On the western side of this new n’hood is Waterlynn Ridge apt. complex, which has parallel parking in front, regular parking in back (which I suppose is like Washington Park in Manchester).

Templeton Bay–just west of city limits–the entrance; big homes on fairly big lots.  These are waterfront homes (note the setback from the road).  Here are the backyards of the houses on the other street.  I like this green-colored house which contrasts with the other brick and white houses.  Here’s a 3-car garage home with the lake clearly in the background.
