West End, Boston, MA–From Greater Greater Washington:

Parking-free “Banned in Boston”?: Developers are rediscovering parking-free buildings in Boston, where plans for a 15-story luxury condo building do not include a garage. Residents are expected to use transit and existing nearby garages. (Globe)

Here is the location in question.  Here is a new building being constructed nearby (as of July 2012); it looks to be right on top of the big dig.  Heading west on Causeway Street is the Tip O’Neill Federal Building, built in 1986, which looks like a lego construction.  Heading north on Red Auerbach Way, here is the view of the O’Neill building and TD Garden both right behind Storrow Drive.
